Looking for something fun? Come to Art Walk Easthampton on the "Second Saturday" of the month from 5-8 pm. Locations all over Easthampton host free visual, music and performance art events in an energetic sampling of local, regional and national talent. Just look for large, yellow Art Walk banners outside each participating venue.
There's lots of free parking all over town, many locations are in easy walking distance of others and you can catch a free lift on the brightly colored "La Guagua" shuttle bus.
So grab a friend and come explore Easthampton's best galleries, shops, restaurants, pubs and music venues during the Art Walk. Some venues have posted descriptions of their next event below:

Enroll the kids for 3 hours on Saturday night (September 13th) we'll keep them busy with fun and exciting art and craft projects and pizza... you can enjoy dinner, the Artwalk and some adult time around town. 'People arrive at texts drawn thgough different corridors, seeking their own answers, imagined places or destinations. Linked to one another, yet isolated – individual and collective – stories and inquiries become connected through books. The public library is a medium through which these complex transitions are performed.'

Event: 'COASTAL INTERPRETATIONS: Stone Water. ' The two friends have often traveled together and painted on location from Alaska to southern Oregon. They have each traveled extensively and painted in other countries as well. They feel their work to be connected by their efforts to interpret landscape through the use of color, line, shape, and planes which are 'pushed' to reveal the artists' experience of time and place. |

Cellist Nicholas Gold will focus on particular paintings and perform pieces corresponding to the energy and feeling of the art. Christie Svane (dance/story) and Derrik Jordan (electric violin) will perform a duet, and Bill O'Haire will paint a landscape of his own on his jazz guitar. |
